  When it came time for our massage I have to say I was extremely disappointed as I had to instruct the massage therapist 3 times to ease on the pressure due to my bad back. Throughout the massage at no point were hot stones nor hot towels used to remove the oil from our backs or legs, instead they used dried out old towel which felt like sand paper as they attempted to remove the oil.

  The spa room is a great escape however unless it is a party of 3 or more 90 minutes is a bit excessive especially for only 2 people and unfortunately the spa bath was only just warm and we became quite cold quickly.

  We were left in the spa room for a little over 2 hours at which point we became extremely bored and wondered if we had been forgotten, we were itching to get the hot stone massage under way.

  One of the therapist’s came in and advised that they would be an extra 10 to 15mins to set up for our massage, surely over 2 hours in the spa room would have given them enough time for this.... so we sat waiting longer.

  At the end my friend and I looked at each other very disappointed. I have never complained about a service nor ever written a review good or bad however we did not pay for these gift certificates friends of ours did and I owed it to them to ask what went wrong?!

  I called today and advised what had happened the day before when we were there and how the mix up happened and again another therapist just laughed, she then said I would only receive a $5.00 refund as that is all a hot stone massage is to have extra, again pretty disappointing especially when you travel so far to get there for a bad experience.

  Upon leaving I thanked the therapist at reception for having us and bought to her attention that on the gift certificates we were supposed to get hot stone massages and asked why that was not performed. The therapist laughed and said it was due to her not having her reading glasses on at the time of entering it into the system and that we could get a credit or refund.

  Bettina is just incredible! Got the best, targeted sore muscle and relaxing massage, the facilities are spotless, stylish, incredible. Far infrared sauna, spa, steam and mineral bath with a log fire burning. Having the whole room to myself was pure luxury and Tamborine mountain is the perfect location for a pampering! Get the full spa/massage package! Going back with my partner next time

  A friend of ours gave us a gift certificate for a package treatment where you get 90 minutes in the spa room using the facilities and a 30 minute hot stone massage.

  Needless to say when you are in the customer service industry I think it’s best to try and put yourself in the client’s shoes and see where they are coming from, unfortunately due to this experience I will not be back nor recommending to others.

  My boyfriend and I came here for our anniversary, the service was impeccable, the team were so friendly and accommodating. Elena, my masseuse was very skilled and lovely and catered to my problem areas during my massage.

  Absolute bliss!!! I was gifted a 3 1/2 hour package by my partner. The spa room was a wonderful way to wind down and the hot stone massage and facial both were divine. I almost floated out after and will be back.
